About Leslie J. Kancir, L. Ac.
After obtaining a Masters degree in Finance and working in investment management,
I decided my true calling was in the healing arts.
I had previously received tremendous benefit from acupuncture and knew alternative medicine was my heart path.
So after almost fifteen years in the financial field,
I went back to school to obtain my Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture
College in Boulder, Colorado. After three non-stop, very grueling years of study I graduated in July 2003,
with over 2800 hours of Oriental medical training, including acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
I am certified by the National Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a
Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.
I am also a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado, #949.
Finally, I am also a professional member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado (AAC).
